First impressions of this product from The Chord Company, lent to me by Acoustica for a home audition, are very impressive! My sources are Michell Orbe and Naim ND555 supported by Naim Superline/Supercap DR, 252 DR and 300 DR. with Chord Power Leads, Interconnects and Speaker Cables, and Audiovector R3 Arreté speakers. I love the sound and have been using another mains block for the past few months. However, when I connected the PowerHAUS S6 this weekend there was an immediate improvement in detail, timing and overall musicality! At first I was wondering if something else had changed without my knowing! But, no, the changes were entirely down to the PowerHAUS S6. I will certainly miss it when it goes back to Acoustica. Or maybe that’s an if?
