It is designed with advanced technologies to upgrade your music streaming quality with minimal noise and interference. Supplied with a 0.75mm Chord C stream cable.
Why the 8Switch?
The 8Switch has been developed with the mission to improve digital signals. In a world where improve analogue transmission is priority, often the digital signal is overlooked. But when it comes to streaming music, even these signals are susceptible to failings, and so improving the sound for high-performance music streaming was key to English Electric’s invention of this product.
Core Technologies
The 8-port gigabit streaming switch has been constructed with advanced technologies at its core. It is powered by an optimised TCXO (Temperature Compensation Crystal Oscillator) for a highly accurate network signal transmission. It also features low noise power supply and clock generation circuit with EMI absorber for further noise prevention.
Improved Music Quality
The 8switch is designed to reduce data issues that can be prevalent when playing high-res music files. It does this through use of low and high electrical noise isolation. With 8 ports you can even connect to the more complex streaming setups and experience vast improvements in your music quality.
Enclosure and Design
Constructed using machined aluminium, the switch enclosure offers optimum protection from unwanted acoustic and electronic noise. It features a low-key LED display on the front panel and is very power efficient. The power adaptor is designed to prevent noise and interference in the mains power supply from affecting the negative signals.
