Whether you’re searching online for your new audio kit or visiting our store in Chester, the first thing to do is decide what you’re upgrading to. Our staff is happy to offer professional advice and guidance on the right model for you, and you can even arrange an in-store demonstration to ensure you’re making the right choice.
You can do this via email or come into the store. We will need to know the exact make, model, and year of the equipment, whether or not you have the original boxes and documentation, and an honest estimate of the overall condition of the pieces. High-resolution photographs of your HiFi trade-in equipment would be useful at this point.
We need to do a little research on your older equipment to determine its current market value. This is normally a fairly quick process, but it can take longer when dealing with items that are no longer in production. Once we have assessed their value, we will provide you with a free, no-obligation quote for your HiFi part exchange.
If you’re happy with our quote, we will need to take ownership of your equipment to complete the sale. You can bring it into the store, or we can arrange for one of our drivers to collect it from your home. At this stage, it is possible that we will alter our quote depending on the condition of your equipment. If there are noticeable scratches, stains, or other damage that was not made clear to us, or if the item is not working properly, we may reduce the value of the trade-in or even withdraw our offer altogether.
Assuming everything goes off without a hitch, we will deduct our evaluation of your old equipment from the cost of your new model, leaving you to pay the difference
